Default [Tutorial] Using the new Advanced Targetting system

The new attacker brings many new configurable settings to the table. While most of the things remain the same, I have made a couple changes which make it more awesome than ever before. Since many of you didn't understand the attacker well in the past, though, I will explain every feature from square one.

1. Adding and configuring creatures
The attacker lets you add multiple configurations for multiple creatures - its that powerful. However, you must learn how to add them first. You will see in the center of the form a list that has one item: "Other Creatures." This is the configuration to be used for all creatures that aren't otherwise configured. To add new configurations, you simply right-click and press "<New>." This will add a new creature to the list. While it says "New Creature," it can actually be many: you can simply add names separated by commas when configuring the name property (I will explain properties below)

2. Removing creatures and clearing the list
Deleting a single creature is as simple as left-clicking on the creature in the list, followed by right-clicking and pressing "Delete Selected." Clearing them all is as simple as hitting "Clear List."

3. Saving and Loading
You are able to save your entire configuration by right-clicking and pressing "Save," then navigating to where you want it saved as. Loading is as easy as hitting "Load" and finding the file (saved as .TBAT). Loading will clear all creatures already on the list.

4. General Configuring Properties
4a. Name
Creatures with the specified name(s) are attacked using the selected configuration. To specify multiple names, use a comma.

4b. Priority
Creatures affected by the selected configuration will be attacked with this priority. Priority comes in four types:
  1. Very High - These creatures will be the first to be attacked
  2. High - These will be the second to be attacked
  3. Average - This will be the final creatures to attack
  4. Ignore - These creatures will be ignored
4c. Follow Mode
Creatures affected by the selected configuration will be chased or avoided depending on which of the four modes are selected. Currently, only two modes are active.
  1. Follow - This will follow the creature with no special measures.
  2. Stand - This will stand still and let the creature come to you.
  3. (Not Complete) Diagonal - This will follow the creature but stay diagonal of it to avoid wave attacks.
  4. (Not Complete) Distance - This will stay 3 squares away from the creature at all times, avoiding waves when possible as well.
4d. Proximity
This specifies how many square the creatures affected by the selected configuration must be within before you attack them.

4e. Magic Type
This specifies what method of magical attack to use on the creatures affected by the selected configuration. There is three different types you can select.
  1. None - No magic will be used on the creature.
  2. Strike - A strike spell will be used on the creature.
  3. Rune - A rune will be shot on the creature.
The configuration of Runes as Strike Spells will follow.

5. Rune Configuration Properties
The following settings only take effect if you have selected the magic type "Rune."
5a. Rune ID
This is the item ID of the rune to shoot on creatures affected by this configuration. You may use either a number or an item shortcut.

5b. Rune Health
Creatures affected by this configuration must have at least this much health percent to be shot with the rune specified for this configuration.

6. Spell Configuration Properties
The following settings only take effect if you have selected the magic type "Spell."
6a. Strike Spell
This is the strike spell to shoot on creatures affected by this configuration. You may use either a spell or a spell shortcut.

6b. Strike Health
Creatures affected by this configuration must have at least this much health percent to be shot with the spell specified for this configuration.

6c. Strike Mana
You must have at least this amount of mana before shooting a spell on creatures specified by this configuration.

7. Enabling Advanced Targeting
You must bubble in the radio button on the left labeled "Advanced Targeting." and then check the box called "Enable Attacker." Make sure to set your configuration as you want before enabling.

Those are coming soon, they are coded just not completely tested and not really efficient. They will most likely be in the next update.

That's what wiki is for.

It will be done with the new GUI, the bot is being rebuilt atm as TUG++. Basically it'll be 100% C++ instead of being a mix of VB.net, C#, and C++. Makes life a lot easier for DarkstaR, and drastically improves performance / functionality.
